Outfit: Inspired by LÄRABAR // Cappuccino

As someone with a truckload of sensitive tummy issues who eats (primarily) gluten free and vegan, it’s hard for me to find snacks that fit my dietary requirements. LÄRABARs are one of my favorite go-to snacks that I eat on a regular basis. Each of their flavors contain no more than 2 to 9 ingredients and they’re gluten free, grain free, non-GMO, soy free, dairy free and kosher (phew!) buuuut most definitely not taste free!

I recently collaborated with LÄRABAR® to create 3 LÄRABAR flavor-inspired looks. Beth Jones used her super styling talents and helped me co-style each outfit using items she found at Crossroads Trading. For the next 3 weeks, I’ll be releasing one of these outfits a week. The week after that, I’ll post all the outtakes. Sound good? Good.

First up: Cappuccino. For the Cappuccino flavor, I wanted a mood that was light, airy and flowy. Beth pulled this gorgeous BCBGMaxazria dress that was spot-on with my aesthetic.

I shot these photos at Blue Sky SF, which is quickly becoming my favorite studio to shoot at in SF. It has a LightGrid Studio and a Daylight Studio. I shot in both studios.

Shooting in the Daylight Studio was pretty easy for me since I work with all-natural light 99% of the time. I must admit I was a bit nervous to shoot in the LightGrid Studio as my knowledge of studio lighting is extremely limited, but the way that it’s engineered, all you do is choose what type of lighting you’d like on an iPad; no manual setup necessary! It made it so easy. If you’re in need of a studio in SF, definitely check this place out.
