Some people appear to live the dreamiest lives. This girl, Kailey, is one of them.

With her cotton candy hair and ruffly, pastel clad-outfits, I expect unicorns and fawns to come jumping out of these photos! This girl might actually be magic itself.

I was going through some old photos on my computer and oh HELLO there were some pictures from the holidays that I never blogged about.  I figured I’d better blog these pictures now before it gets to be July or something. The holidays, wow, did they really happen? Seems so long ago, eh?

This particular day it was a little cold to take outfit pictures outside, so Mom and I ducked into the Palace Hotel to play for a bit. It was New Year’s Eve and man, the hotel was PACKED. Not the ideal for outfit pictures, but perfect if you want to get some odd looks from strangers!

This place is so grand and fancy, I’d love to see what one of their rooms looks like inside. My friend, Emma, said she stayed there once with her grandmother as a little girl (in a suite, no less!) and it was like being treated like a princess. A princess at the palace ♥

It’s no secret that bikes + babes = major swoon material. My friend Erin has a bike blog devoted entirely to just that. Free People teamed up with Schwinn to give away five bicycles, which you can enter here.

The Free People blog girls got to decorate one of the bikes and well they really know how to make a girl’s heart go pitter patter… can you say DREAMY??!

I watched Barefoot in the Park a little while ago (side note: if you have not seen that movie, go do so now!). It has Jane Fonda in it and until then I had always associated Jane Fonda with… well yoga and workout DVDs for older women and whatnot. But man, I didn’t realize how much of a babe she was in her heyday! Babe status.

I kinda sorta well actually really love this girl‘s style as of late. Her name is Julia Topaz. And she’s a 24 year old female living and attending grad school in Richmond, Virginia. Simple, chic, classic. A little bit tomboy and perfect in every way.

Someone once asked me if my style was an animal, what would it be?  And that kinda really stumped me. It’s a harder question than it seems!  But after thinking it over, I came up with an owl. They’re a little bit preppy, a little bit academic, a little bit girly, a little bit classic…

Now it’s my turn to ask YOU if YOUR style was an animal, what would it be??

I haven’t gotten my hair cut since April and it’s getting really long right now. The kind of long when you look in your peripheral vision and all you see is hair. I scheduled an appointment to get it cut in a couple of weeks. I’m not sure if I’m ready for a drastic change or not, but I’m seriously considering getting my hair chopped off like this:

When I texted my hairstylist this picture, she said, “Oh, so you want to go for a bob!” The thing is, I didn’t think of the haircut as a bob and it may sound silly, but the word, “bob” makes it seem all the more serious, like I’m getting my hair cut really short or something… even if it is a long bob, not a short bob.

So folks, what to you think? To bob or not to bob?
